IMPORTANT MEETING JANUARY 19, 2022
The Friends of the North Highlands-Antelope Library is facing eminent decertification. This means that the Friends will no longer exist as it has over the last many years. No more book sales, or author teas or opportunities to raise funds and advocate on behalf of the library.
The Friends of the Sacramento Public
Library bylaws require a board to have a minimum of a President and Treasurer in
order to maintain certification. At this time no one has expressed interest in
filling these roles. Unless there are
volunteers willing to serve as board members, the North Highlands-Antelope
Friends will be no more.
You can make the difference to what
happens to the Friends. Consider volunteering your time and talent to ensure the
Friends will continue in its vital role - supporting the library.
A meeting has been scheduled to
determine the future of the North Highland-Antelope Friends. Please plan to
attend this important meeting to learn more.
The meeting is scheduled on Wednesday,
January 19, 2022, starting at 11:00am. The meeting will be held via ZOOM. An
agenda and information regarding how to log onto ZOOM will be sent in advance
of the meeting.
